Anastasia Full Reaction

This was such a good movie for me to watch as a kid. I'm so glad you enjoyed it and a lot of the songs! When you started dancing to Rasputin's song I was dancing too. Such a good song.

Just wanted you to know Jonathan Young did a metal cover of " In The Dark of the Night" on Youtube if you ever want to listen to it AND THIS IS MY FAVORITE MOVIE

Anastasia- Thank you very much for another fantastic movie reaction, Cody!! I truly appreciate you reacting to Anastasia for me. I really enjoyed your reaction very much. Anastasia is a lot of fun, and it's long since been one of my all time favorite animated movies. I love the story, the characters, and I love the music all throughout this beautiful movie as well. My favorite songs... At the Beginning, played during the end credits, Once Upon a December, Journey to the Past, and Paris Holds the Key To Your Heart. I love Dimitri and Anya, and their relationship that only grows stronger as time passes throughout the movie. And I love their romance that also continues to grow as well. I am so happy that they elope in the ending, and that the Grandmother assures Anastasia that they will always be together even when they're apart. I also love seeing Dimitri's change of heart upon hearing Anya describe how he had saved her and her grandmother years earlier by opening the door in the wall to help them to escape. And yes... while this movie is loosely based on true historical events from the early 1900s, most of this movie is based on the rumors that came from these said events. Hence the idea behind this movie's song... Rumors in St. Petersburg. Anastasia, Dimitri, Czar Nicholas, and Rasputin were all real life people, and what happened to Anastasia and her family is tragic. Thank you very much, dear friend! I can't wait for many more movie reactions to come, especially for your upcoming reaction for Crazy, Stupid, Love, as well as all of the movies that I am excited to request from you in the coming months too. Until next time... Thank you! Sincerely, Heidi

In unfortunately the real story’s of Anastasia isn’t so happy. Rasputin was a real man and the Prince Alexie’s physician, apparently the Prince suffered haemophilia, Rasputin was I guess you could say conned the royal family into believing he could cure the sick prince, and he was hickory accepted into the royal family and became a trusted friend , however the nobility and some of the other royals didn’t like this, especially when rumours started spreading that rasputin was “spending time” with the princess if you know what I mean. Anyway rumour has it that he was killed by the nobility. Anyway a quick overview. there was a revolution in 1917 and the Tsar Nicholas Romanov was forced to abdicate. He, his wife, his 4 daughters, 1 son and their servants after being imprisoned in Alexander palace were moved around until they would find themselves in a house in Ekaterinburg. In July 1918 Anastasia and the rest of her family were executed by I think the Soviet’s and there body’s were thrown down a mine shaft and had acid poured on them. Around 1998 the remains were discovered and DNA test confirmed it. Apparently the bones were laid to rest at a cathedral at St Petersburg.
