favorite pictures from a nighttime twerk outfit photoshoot + reflections (2018) #42a

hi my loves! these are a few of my favorite fashion photoshoots from my twerk outfit (all the pictures are in the earth patron tier in multiple photosets). these were taken on a night where a fellow twerk instructor friend and I decided to do a twerk videoshoot and fashion photoshoot after twerk class in Hollywood.

I really love how some of these photos came out - some of them are unexpectedly really beautiful! I plan to save up and buy a high-quality camera that does a great job filming and taking photos at nighttime because I really love nighttime photoshoots.

this was a period in my life where I was really juggling a lot. school, work, fashion, making a positive impact, dance, friendships, dating, etc. I was trying to figure out how to prioritize and it was really overwhelming at times because the path I wanted to take was one that was not one that was well-worn (there is no "how to" when it comes to being a financially successful creator... you literally have to figure it out on your own). Luckily, 4 years later, I'm looking back and I'm really glad I chose to focus on my career on social media while juggling college, work, and other things.

Sometimes I wish I could go and talk to my younger self and tell her that the important things in her life is going to work out so that she's not so overwhelmed. There was a point in this week's mini-vlog where I was honestly holding back tears because I was so overwhelmed with all the stuff on my plate. I'm really glad I'm taking better care of myself now - it's something that comes with practice and thankfully at this point my life is much less overwhelming because I know myself better and I'm able to take better care of myself.
