Playing Garun A by Komitas on Piano in November 2017 (2017) #33a
Added 2021-12-12 18:18:41 +0000 UTChi my loves! this is me playing Garun A by Komitas on Piano in November 2017 in the college practice rooms. This piece of music in composed by a famous Armenian composer, Komitas, and it is about the Armenian Genocide (which sadly continues to this day). My great-grandparents and grandparents are survivors of the Armenian Genocide and this piece of music is my favorite to play on piano. I was playing what I could remember by memory, so when I started re-learning the piece from my sheet music I saved that was given to me by my piano teacher back then I realized I remembered some of the notes incorrectly. but it all still worked out lol! nobody, including myself, noticed π haha
I included the original clip + the original instagram version of the clip that I had posted years ago, so I guess you can consider it a mini-compilation visually speaking, but not sonically speaking.
