hello my loves! for those of you who don't know, my ethnicity is Armenian. My parents are Armenian immigrants. I feel a very deep connection to my roots and to nature and it is a huge part of my work as an artist. My dream is to get my Armenian citizenship within the next year and go film and create in Armenia to show you where my ancestors are from.

The first time I visited Armenia was in 2017 to bury the ashes of my grandpa who passed away. My grandpa was very patriotic to Armenia and celebrated his ancestral roots, and this is something I inherited from him. In the Armenian language, we call this love and passion for our Armenian heritage "hayrenaser." I'm very hayrenaser.

I hope that this little snippet of my favorite place I've been to in Armenia so far makes your heart as happy as it makes mine. It's a very ancient place with so many stories to tell. It withstood the test of time. It is the Tatev Monastery.

I have many other clips from Armenia, but I wanted to share this one with you because this is my favorite part of the trip and that part that stuck with me the most. I dream to be a villager living somewhere rural/countryside one day, and/or to live in the wilderness.

I hope this inspires you to connect and celebrate your ancestral roots, heritage, and beauty...and to have a little bit of love for mine too!
