All the rhythm parts are played by using your pick and middle finger. (Except chorus). Interlude follows Toto´s live version...it´s little bit different than the original recording.
Solo:
Few big bends...2 whole steps. Don´t hurt yourself ;) You can always try playing it whole step higher and bend only 1 whole step. Lukather is most likely picking every note on that fast descendig run. i couldn´t do it so i played it legato.
