How I Met My Wife

You start out using it to share videos and pictures with your family back home, as you have this crazy adventure abroad.
Then it turns into so much more.
Who knew that with a lot of work, and dedication, it'd turn into something of a dream and a passion, and open up so many opportunities for the future.
Also, thanks to the internet, I was able to find my future wife on Facebook after she refused to give me her phone number in the supermarket!
At that time, Facebook was actually not blocked in China, and thank the lord for that! In a way, internet censorship could have prevented a beautiful marriage, a beautiful baby, and an awesome future.
I have known Vivi for 7 years now, and she is not only one of my best friends, but also the person I would happily spend the rest of my life with. Some people say that I got lucky by finding her, and I really do feel that way.
Cultural differences are no excuse to discount a cross cultural relationship. All odds can be thwarted, and all differences can be understood. I think that patience and understanding has gone a long way into making this such a good relationship.
Living in China has presented me with so much, and it's tough to not believe in fate sometimes.
Things are slowing down here economically, and clients are few and far in between. It's not the easiest time to raise a family on one man's salary, so I have to say thank you so much.
I don't know where I'd be without all of you guys. Thanks so much laowinners!
