One of those must know chord progressions ;)
In real life you probably want to leave the intro to the keyboard player. Guitar doesn´t play anything until the band comes in.
My humble thought was to play that keyboard sequencer part...but it was surprisingly hard to memorize so i leave it out. Maybe you want to try it out...very good exercise!!!

This tune reminds me of another gem from the same soundtrack which featured one of the most blazing tap solos on a pop tune from that era....Maniac. That would be a fun song to see done by you if you are feeling nostalgic :)
