I thought I'd take you back to the beginning of me taking twerking lessons! Who knew that a year later, I would have a viral twerk video (the first and previous post/video) that opened a door for me as a creator/artist, I would've gained so much skill (and have talent) that I became a certified twerk instructor, my teachers asked me to substitute teach for them, and suggested I even create my own twerk classes (which I never did because I enjoy being an artist more than I do being a teacher)?! wow! It's really incredible how much one can learn in just a year!
I was so nervous and shy my first time that I booked a private lesson before I took my first twerking class because I wanted to feel like I had some skills under my tool belt prior to doing it publicly in a class setting. ❤️ I snapped this selfie with my phone before my twerking instructor arrived! 🍑 It was a chilly fall day, so I came to my lesson bundled up.
