The Crazy and True Plan for Australia's Inland Sea
Added 2025-10-07 23:28:42 +0000 UTCHello Patrons,
As you can imagine, we've been a bit busy behind the scenes but we've still got some big and different videos in the works. This video is a bit more of a fun one. It looks not only at the real plan to create and inland sea in Australia, but the long history of searching for an inland sea in the past.
Let us know what you think about this one because it is a bit of a departure from our regular content.
We'll have some more updates soon about some of the heavier-duty things going on. But you know the drill by now, at the very least we'll keep up the Patreon updates and we'll share things when the time is right.
For Patrons in the God tier have a look at our post from last week, we'll be shouting out your names in videos and this one will have those names when it releases later today.
Thank you all so much for your support,
The FJ Crew

Imagine being a multi-billionaire in the Middle East - and instead of your legacy being the guy who restored the Aral Sea it's the guy who brought Rugby Union to the desert.

2025-10-12 05:24:47 +0000 UTCGood video Jordan, 👍 I enjoyed this. Love how you debunk the crazy politicians so artfully while poking fun at Charles Sturt - who surely wore something else while sailing these rivers. 🤣

2025-10-08 04:30:35 +0000 UTCWhen sea levels rise another few metres they will dig a channel from the coast to the Kalgoorlie mine and fill it with water. And there is the inland lake foretold bu Jordies.

2025-10-08 02:56:49 +0000 UTCPlease everyone, add a few small scale hydro projects, don't make a sea, call it "at least we had ambition" and sell it to the labour movement through the John Maynard Keynes view of even digging holes and filling them back in again stimulates the economy, good union paid jobs and all that If that's the title headline, then imagine the conspiracy when anti renewables types catch on

2025-10-08 01:28:07 +0000 UTC100% the Aussie "rebuild Rome". But ya'know give us 60-80yrs a thriving Green energy manufacturing and orbital mining AND Climate Change on the mend, and a stable labour majority of course. Then maybe we could actually build our own Saudi Arabian Megastructure... A big salty shallow pond

2025-10-07 23:52:37 +0000 UTCIt would be quicker to drill 'deep underground bases ' on the Artesean basin and have an actual underground sea... oh wait!!

2025-10-07 23:50:46 +0000 UTCI mean looking at climate projections all they'll need to do is wait 30 years and they'll get their damn inland sea

2025-10-07 23:49:42 +0000 UTCIt's informative and funny. I grade it an A-. There was a distinct lack of cunts getting dropped. Disappointing.
