Your Favourite Video
Added 2025-02-28 07:49:55 +0000 UTCHello Patrons,
We'll have your next early video in a few days but now that we're back posting publicly on Youtube we wanted to ask you about your favourite video we showed you while we were away.
There are a fair few new patrons who have signed up this week so we thought we'd explain how we get you exclusive content. Every week we give you early access to a political video when there's one ready. We kept this up while we weren't posting on Youtube, so if you're new scroll down and check out the uploads from the past few weeks. We'll be interested to see which was your favourite too.
These early videos are what you're charged for on Patreon, starting on March 17th this will change from being a weekly a monthly charge. Don't worry, you can't be charged more than your selected amount during the change and any caps you have set will carry over as well.
We'll also be opening a new video suggestion poll in a few days, keep your eyes out for that. You can suggest videos for us to work on and vote on what you want to see, we make the winner of the poll every month.
We'll be getting all these videos out to the public alongside a lot of new content starting on Monday with the Ground News video and a stream afterwards.
Welcome to all the new patrons and thank you to our long term supporters!

Well said. It speaks to the trap far too many fall into. It used to be a basic right v left, scope for a few years, but as Jordan pointed out, there's a new weird group being portrayed as "independent" that's apparently fighting the duopoly. You only have to scratch a Portion of that surface to understand its exactly the same narratives being told, while also galvanising voters to maintain their "tribes", rather than try to build cynicism, ask questions, and even call out their own allies to confront any corruption. A middle group does exist that genuinely does fight the duopoly in place. I personally don't believe a 2pp is honest, let alone functional. But the true middle group has deliberately been blurred out in recent years, in an effort to push voters away from the growing minor parties. I don't necessarily think the big parties are solely doing the blurring either. It's multi-faceted and very complex. Voters need to do due diligence and really research candidates that have a good record. You're right though, this video placed into words what I've been feeling for quite some time. Jordan gets a boat load of credit for that.

2025-03-07 22:49:20 +0000 UTCI completely agree! I found the Ground News video perfectly put into words what I have been feeling for ages, but have been totally unable to articulate. Not necessarily about Ground News, - it really ins't about Ground News at all - but about the media landscape and how shit the left/right dichotomy is. Such a relief!

2025-03-07 22:32:46 +0000 UTCMate, The Ground News Bias Video is something everyone should watch. That's up there with Topher Field's marble video on voting preferences. Waaaay too many dont know this information and they NEED to see this. So this video of yours speaks volumes that isnt given the credit its definitely due.

2025-03-06 23:21:14 +0000 UTC+1 to this. Everyone I speak to is amazed at this dude. When I rebuff it,as he runs a lotto scam, they say, "good on him for finding a loophole and giving back to the community". The dude is literally funded by the community and given a small portion of it back. Meanwhile avoiding high taxes and regulation posed on lotto companies.

2025-03-02 08:54:35 +0000 UTCI suspect there isn't any money to do anything, Liberals left massive holes and strangled public service pay on top of a Federal government thatw as keen to do the same. I also suspect the people negotiating with them isn't elected government officials but installed bureaucracy from the coalition still.

2025-03-02 04:44:36 +0000 UTCHey Jords! This kinda does not fit your brand, but I tell you about a video i am absolutely dying for from any Aussie journalist. I am facinated by Adrian Portelli & the reputation he has marketed himself to be, all from running a 'Lottery' style buisness. The fact that no-one has had a greater look into his balance sheet & connections is mind boggling to me. Don't get me wrong, he's a marketing genius and his personality is perfectly calcuated to be charismatic. But I am simply at a loss on how he can maintain this 'In your face rich' persona whilst simultaneously marketing as a 'philanthropist' running such a scheme and still maintains an income stream from the desperate & vulnerable being sold a dream of a new home, car or money. Not trying to get you firebombed again but damn its crazy!

2025-03-02 02:32:05 +0000 UTCI don't even know if you'll see this but I'd be interested in a short video on the nsw rail union. I'm tired of people skewing the facts and have no idea what to believe anymore when it comes to them striking

2025-03-02 00:12:24 +0000 UTCYou should have a look into what the NSW gov is doing to the health sector. The email that went out from a certain hospital HR admin (that wasn’t meant to) that landed in all the junior doctors inboxes. Calling them all clinical marshmallows. That one was a doozy. Then there’s the pay dispute with the psych drs. Then another with the ED drs. Don’t know what’s going on with the NSW gov, but the Aus Dr subreddit, they’re not going to vote Labor next election because of the mess!

2025-03-01 23:23:51 +0000 UTCI think it’s certainly industry dependent. The free TAFE courses aimed at the Health sector have been incredibly beneficial. Just a shame that the public hospitals can’t afford to hire more staff that are desperately needed, and state governments can’t afford to give public hospitals more money to hire the staff, so it’s in this weird limbo deadlock. That’s just one section of the hospital. Then there’s what’s happening in other states with other healthcare professionals and I don’t even want to get started on that one (that’s not anything to do with TAFE though).

2025-03-01 23:12:32 +0000 UTCUnfortunately it's too politically charged

2025-03-01 12:32:47 +0000 UTCI’m curious about people’s experience with free TAFE. I genuinely wanted to learn practical skills, but most of the course was filled with corporate wanker HR bullshit. I’m just going to stick to Udemy courses. The course I did (ICT) was all outsourced to LinkedIn Learning anyway. I love the idea of free TAFE. I hope it’s better for other industry sectors.

2025-02-28 08:13:43 +0000 UTCI was a big fan of the second third and forth videos with the one about the ETS in particular standing out. Despite being in my early teens at the time I had taken a relative early interest in politics so my true understanding of the subject was a bit limited so having it explained in detail exactly how much we essentially passed up on really puts into perspective the short sighted self obsessed bullshit that is the Liberals and their corporate masters.

2025-02-28 07:54:25 +0000 UTC100% the carbon tax one. I remember in Jordan’s live stream I asked when he was gonna release that. I reckon it’s probably the strongest one to release first as it sets the strong precedent that the greens are selfish, narcissistic fucks. Whereas if you post some other vids first, the entire comment section (from new people) would be “well the greens have better plans”.
