Really funny video but I was wondering if you could make a video outlining the corruption of the LNP in a non jokey way so that I can show my older relatives? They usually stop listening after the first joke or swear. I understand it goes against ur usual style of content but it would be extremely helpful to get the older population to stop voting for the LNP.

Great video as always, thanks Jordies. Personally I wish you'd stop plugging Ecosia though! They're just using search results from Microsoft Bing, and the majority of their revenue comes from the ads Microsoft pays them to run on those Microsoft search results. So, you're getting shittier results and directly enriching one of the most evil companies on the planet. Ecosia also does not plant a tree for every search. It's more like 1 tree for every 30-50 searches you make as an individual. Then there's also the much more contentious topic of how impactful tree planting is in the first place. How well is Ecosia is monitoring and maintaining the trees it plants? Maybe you've heard about how 90% of the 11m saplings Turkey planted recently died? Kinda awkies given that we probably need to plant more than a trillion trees for the whole tree-planting thing to really make a difference. But the PR department of Ecosia is probably not going to talk about those things. Just like the Tesla PR department chose not to talk about the environmental impact of buying a Tesla with bitcoins. Put differently, when it comes to environmental justice, I think it's gonna be EXTREMELY hard, perhaps impossible, to find quality examples of "doing well by doing good" in this late-stage capitalism hellscape we're all trapped in. Aaaanyway, I might be salty because they fired me at the beginning of this year, after only being there for around 3 months. I'm a career programmer who's seen how the sausage is made at a few different larger organizations now (and also has not been fired from anywhere else, in case you're wondering!). Ecosia was by far the worst I've seen, and I've worked in chaotic ~15-30person early startups. If you want to encourage your viewers to do something "easy" in order to help push the needle, I feel that. I'm sure the ToS you signed with Youtube, Patreon etc sadly prevent you from encouraging your viewers to burn down the nearest NAB branch. Perhaps encourage people to install adblockers (except when watching Jordies videos on Youtube, of course), switch away from Google (without needing to actually put your name against an alternative and end up with dickbags like me in da comments), spend less time on the established "engagement"-factories like FB,Insta, etc. That's much more likely to at least inconvenience the capital class, rather than reassigning 0s from the Google quarterly statement, to the Micro$oft one.

Told my mum that murdoch ruined her business with the negative gearing hysteria, she unsubscribed from a murdoch owned paper, and turned on the liberal party and now promises to kick the LNP out next federal election. For clarification, the negative gearing made the investors she worked with, too spooked to start new projects. Which led to months and months of little or no work. And to her selling assets and incurring debt. Once she saw the link between the reporting and how it affected her business, she saw red.

Great stuff. I’m so torn with my (niche) union. I support unionism (even been a union rep multiple times) but they’re run by industrial relations amateurs thanks to hiring within the industry instead of paying for someone with a law degree. I also have indisputable evidence that they actively and knowingly facilitated a convicted p@3dophile to submit a statement FROM PRISON to get his wife (whom he admitted to abusing on the stand in his sentencing hearing in which she was a witness for the prosecution after he confessed his crimes to her during the marriage) fired from her job as revenge. I don’t know what to do to change my union to an organisation I can support again. Any advice would be welcome.
