Hello Patrons!
One final video for you all to close out the year, we're doing something a little different. A history lesson about someone who Jordan considers to be the greatest Australian of all time.
2020 was a wild year for friendlyjordies and we couldn't have done it without your support. Thank you all so very, very much. 2021 is shaping up to be just as bonkers straight from the get-go and we hope to see you there. Buckle up!

yeah it is always amazing how our education depertments have a long history of not wanting to teach australian histroy it is almost like they are scared of it.

2021-01-22 10:10:07 +0000 UTCAccording to Wikipedia, Lang grew up in the slums and as a child sold newspapers to supplement family income. Basically he's like a Newsboy. I wonder if the Australian Newsboys were as heavily unionised as the ones in the USA, as per the Disney film "Newsboys" from 1992. That very much explains his strong early connection with Labor values.
