Glad to see the number of patrons increase since the attempted cancellation. It makes sense why people like the auwu and other left 'activists' don't even bother fighting the coalition, the mca or the fox/sky network, since they can't even effectively carry out a character assassination on one of their own most effective allies without it backfiring.

I think as a public figure you have to explain your actions otherwise you'll go down as just another bad apology on youtube of someone just going "oh no what have I done I feel so bad." and the masses gain up on you as 'fake apology'. Public apologies never go down amazing, the only way he could do an apology the way you're citing is if he were to make a private apology that wasn't open for criticism from people who have nothing to do with the feelings involved. I.e: If you've upset your partner, you don't make a public apology to them in front of a waiting audience. You talk to them personally and privately.

Re my earlier post: I don't know if anyone from the FJ team reads these comments, but I would like to offer some constructive criticism. if you have to apologise, and you are really sorry, read that again: if you are really soprry and trying to make the other person feel better, never explain your actions. Once you do that, you are making it about you, not them. If you have made a mistake and you want to explain your actions, that is OK, but it isn't going to make the wronged party feel any better (if that is what you are really trying to do). An apology is : "I can see why you are upset, I really feel bad about that, I crossed the line etc. Sorry"
