Whether the world is a beautiful place filled with opportunities and hope or a terrible place that locks your flesh into a harsh reality of suffering depends on the environment you were brought up in and the life situations you have experienced, one of those was favorable for Thesh, she was born in a secret village of long lost tradition that worshiped the god of causality Tycche , when no one could pin point the cause of a catastrophe nor could find rhyme nor reason about why things happened as they did, it means that Tycche was the cause and being neither an evil nor a benevolent god, it certainly would bring chaos were more people aside their worshipers to know about this chaotic god. Thesh grew up together with the high priest of Tycche, the one who was said to communicate with the god, life was peaceful but one day suddenly the village was attacked, everyone was killed, Thesh was gravely injured, she would never make it through such ordeal, but as she saw her precious friend being kidnapped, hatred and vengeance filled her heart, she gave herself over to Tycche in exchange for getting the god’s high priest back, this means Thesh was able to stay alive, but not without consequence, she is now marked for death and her god will act as they always had, meaning her life can be longer than a dragon kin or over in an instant all based on the whim of the one she worship, but being so connected with Tycche made Thesh understand a bit more about her god, maybe they have as many conflicting feelings as she has: the desire to dutifully protect her beloved friend but at the same time a heart filled with hatred that eagerly takes step by step for the sake of revenge.
