I didn't want to spoil this but basically it went like this: After many months and many times they've met here (red poppy garden) and talked, they finally built a friendship and he eventually warmed up to her. So yes, there's quite a time gap before her abandonement and I am working on that specific timeline right now to make them into comic pages (the timeline they first met until she's fully abandoned by her parents.) In that timeline, there's this 1-year gap after they've built their friendship where Caleb didn't come to the red poppy garden anymore but May kept waiting in the garden hoping he'll come back for her one day. The reason Caleb didn't come to the garden anymore was because Caleb finally decided to open a new chapter for his life. As stated, before he met her he was pretty much in depression. But after talking with her and seeing her with such a high will to live, all these positive traits of her slowly was changing him/motivating him to once again have that will to live. He decided to work in a kitchen with the other chefs after she motivated him to do so thus he became very busy with his new job and forgot about the garden. He only came back to the poppy garden and to her house (her house was literally next to the garden) when he made a cake with red poppy flowers decoration on it, of which it's reminded him of her and the garden. But when he came back after a year of not meeting each other, he found her in that extremely sad condition where she was dying from starvation and extreme filth. By that time, they've built their friendship bar quite high already so of course he couldn't let her die. So yeah, there's a lot happening in the time gap where they built their friendship that these scenes alone would take months for me to actually sketch them all...Jesus take the wheel 😭😭 But of course there might also be a lot of fixing and changing of plots along the way to make it more dramatic before these can make it into the final piece just like the other stories. But just so you know, THESE were the original scripts for them. And I only post OG scripts on Patreon, so please don't leak it elsewhere if you can 👀 But for now, let's just wait and see what scripts can make it into the final piece. I'm the kind of person who likes to surprise myself along the way. I mean where's the fun for me if I know all their stories already, right? XD I hope it helps! Yeah I mean that's how I learned SAI in the first place : YOUTUBE 🤣🤣 But really you get more on YT than 3years in art college haha~ maybe because you can search for specific things to learn while in college you learn the overall 🤔 Damn so much nice drawing programs! Also, I almost forgot! I like Procreate in my iPad as well!! The brush strokes I just can't get those anywhere else 😭💖💖 wish it's not so tiring to draw on it, I'd draw on it everyday! I will try my best! If I can slip in a spook sketch, I will definitely post it for sure :P Let's just wait and see! Thank you for your replies as always, they make me so happy 😭

Paintstorm is a new-ish program, it’s all about painting like.. with real strokes / brush effects that are very nice and realistic. But yee, good luck to you too for your arts~! Well I do still have the installer in my folder, I think I just need that time and the will to learn... 😆 I mean I heard it's really good especially if you make mangas. I've been wanting to learn to use screentones too like how I used to do it in Manga Studio (uninstalled this one as well so I'm left with only SAI and Photoshop) Thank you for the recommendation! SAI is the simplest out of every drawing programs I've tried but I gotta admit it lacks effects and finishing touches. I've never heard of Paintstorm though? I'll check that out when I have time! It’s pretty straight forward if you’ve used photoshop enough?? 😂 I also found a loooot of GREAT tutorials on youtube that helped me out too. 10/10 can recommend plenty of them. Actually one of my recent pieces I did on twitter was from a tutorial i followed too ~ 😊 very awesome results~! 👌🏽👀✨ I keep going back and forth between Clip and PS—I need to play with Sai a lil more tho and I’m TRYING to learn how to use Paintstorm next. (I—just really like art programs help 🤣😂 ) Also YES —I’m gonna try my best to finish this spook drawing in time for HALLOWEEN~! 🎃👻
