BEHIND THE SCENES #11 - Omake #41: "Blankets" (Part 2)

woops, im pretty late with this one, so there'll be two of these posts today to catch up DNNJHF--but nonetheless, we continue !!!

so, this omake!!! i really liked it!! every time i can make one that's actually like. shorter than a normal update im happy LMAO--i really have a problem with making updates longer than i mean to... perhaps there's a reason i'm perpetually behind, huh... >w>''

being the second part of last weeks omake, it was definitely a little easier to make this one shorter, tho--not having to introduce the concept of whats going on always saves me making a few panels!! i really am enjoying doing a little side story with these omakes, especially with the more somber mood of the last few main story updates--its nice to lighten things up a little!! B)

[i love drawing embarrassed chase DHNFNGD... theyre so cute.... literally chases entire house is like, FILLED with embarrassing things from their childhood for ava to giggle at... i dont even know whats gonna happen when she meets chases mom.... there's a HIGH probability she busts out the baby photos tho B)]

as always, penny is showing off her puppy-ness, even when shes not there in person.... i dont really know why i find someone being super dog-like without trying to so funny, but hey, it seems like 50000 people agreed with me so ill take it!! lmao

not TOO much else to talk about story-wise here, but artwise, this update was a bit hard for me to draw, since its been so long since i drew these two a bunch!! i missed doing it though, i really enjoy writing and drawing all these guys so much ahaha--i think chase is my favorite among them all, though... i dunno why, i just have so much fun every time they show up, ehehe!!

currently my main problem with drawing them--and faces in general i think--is that i tend to do the same few angles most of the time, so i struggle a lot with drawing other ones--i have this habit of making the eyes too forward facing in the panel, even if the eyes should be waaaay more tilted for the way the head is facing--you can see i tried to rectify that in the panel with ava giggling at chase wif their blankie tho, to pretty good results i feel like!! ill have to keep working on it, but i think it came out pretty good overall, same with the rest of the panels !! B)

tbh, i don't have much more to say about this one, BUT i'll have lots more to say in the next behind the scenes, for 1.8.43 (yes i have the update numbers memorized what about it !!!!) which came out last night!! lotsa fun stuff to talk abt in that one, so look forward to that post later today!!
