BEHIND THE SCENES #2 - Omake #37: "based on a true story"
Added 2022-03-29 06:00:00 +0000 UTCgod, this omake.... this really IS based on a true story, lmao--specifically what happened was, i was walking with my partner at the time, and they were behind me--and then they came up and blew on my neck as a joke--which resulted in me making an embarrassing noise, and promptly falling the fuck over DDNFGNHJ
that person is far in my past now, and most of my memories of them are pretty tainted by how we broke up, but i think its nice to put some of the better experiences from that relationship into a format that doesn't have any bad memories attached to it!! a lot of the omakes are like that, actually--its kind of like a public journal i guess?? but with ocs filling in the gaps...
as for technical details about this one, something i think is neat about this update (and the one before it, actually!) is that the lines for the characters are actually drawn at half-size, and then scaled up! for some reason its much easier for me to draw them like that, which is kinda weird--but it works, so whatever!! anything i can do to save time is good with me B)
another thing that i find funny is that i actually had originally planned to use waifu2x to do the upscaling, but the maximum image size prevented me from doing so--leftover from that, though, is the name of the original line files, which are now lovingly called '[update] lines to waifu-fy'. my brain's creative process is truly a mystery.....
