The High Counselor explains to you that the Ritual will happen in 2 days and because of you willingness to help he pays for your stay in the most luxurious inn in the Capital!
You have 2 days to unwind in the capital! What does your Dood do with their free time?
Now the time has come, you all are summoned to the Central Plaza and your escort and protection mission commence, your party consists of five robed people who are presumably mages and one other silent person, they avoid eye contact with you doesn't show much emotion. This person doesn't seem fazed by how cute Hops is, nor does they pay no mind to Demon trying to start a conversation and Taylor's labia does not work either, no words seem to ever leave their mouth.
You pass some trees, too sparse to be called woods but still there so you will have some shadow
At the site of the Ritual, you are a surprised by a stone floor with 4 magical torches and an elevation on the ground, a kind of altar at the center, there are some marks on the ground, it seems this Ritual has been taking place many times before and is that... blood?
Tell me, what does your Dood think about all this so far??
The silent person is led to their place at the small altar and four of the five mages take their place around the stone floor, the last mage stays beside the silent one on the small altar.
You all are required to stay off the stone floor for it will disrupt and possibly result in failing the Ritual, you all do as you are told and as the Mages start chanting the spell a wave of magic spurs from the torches and a strong magical chain locks into the silent person who lets out a scream of pain, you finally understand that they were actually a living sacrifice for this ritual... As the spell keeps going the torches become more and more bright but as they do the sacrifice endures more and more pain...
But then!!
What is that?!
Some people come out of the trees around you! They are yelling loudly and attacking with crossbow and slingers! Their attacks do not do any major damage, you do not know if it's due to their inability, poor weaponry or if they simply doesn't want to really hurt anyone but either way, they have disturbed the ritual and as the mages waver on their spell casting you feel the ground tremble below your feet! You know this rumbling! You felt this before! It's just like when you were in that mine and soon the ground start opening!
The mages yell at you to get rid of the nuisance so they can finish the ritual!
You look around to try and access the situation, your eyes meet with the silent person, they, who were avoiding eye contact with you all the way there and even after the ritual started, now are focusing all their attention to you, waiting to see what you will do
You have no time to argue with anyone now! You have to decide How will your Dood react and what will you do??
Will your Dood keep protecting the mages to see the Ritual through? Will you help the sacrifice? Or will your Dood simply walk away from it all?

Reveling in the fact that there were tons upon tons of people in the city, Hops went around socializing with the locals. To do so, he'd frequent taverns and restaurants, ordering pancakes every single time. He'd often give compliments to any pretty ladies he met too. What a little charmer! However, when the ritual came along, he'd follow along with a hum and a merry tune. But upon the sight, he knew it meant something bad. So he grabbed the sacrifice, ran off, and tried to blow the altar itself to kingdom come with his bombs once it was clear.

2023-07-31 07:26:01 +0000 UTCFirst thing they would do is probably search for some delicious local food to try. After a day of feasting. Probably on day two visit any brothels..to gather intel on the city of course. During the day of the ritual tho, the site of blood places demon on high alert since he now knows the purpose of the silent individual. Must one strong ritual if it requires a human sacrifice. Demon could easily take down the people attacking. But given they aren't much if a threat. He would instead take advantage of the situation and tell the mages that they should all retreat for now and do it another day, while carrying the sacrifice back. In doing so, he can hopefully figure out why people were attacking them in the first place.
