D&D&F Scenario 4 - Results!

Hey hey hey EVERYONE!

ARE YOU READY??


Let's get our dices rolling coz this Raid is at it's end and, believe little old me when I say, it will be a BLAST!

And no, not because of Hop's bombs! (Maybe)


First of Taylor kindly ignored Cory's dead body, not a bad move there, I must say I agree!

On the first rooms you found a sturdy rope and some small bottles, you do not know which kind of potions they are but maybe Hops can identify them later!


Now, DemonKnight, in Cory's pocket you found some lint, a weird punch-it card that says "5 Deaths = 1 Ice-Cream" and some of Demon's own trinkets which Cory was kindly "taking care of" in his stead.


Taylor and DemonKnight follow the right path, telling Hops to watch out for the monsters and come back if he senses any danger beyond his capacities.

You both reach what it looks like a prison section, there are some guards there so you both will have to fight them!


Give me 30 in a roll TOGETHER! and we will see how it goes!


Ohh MY GOD!!! I would never have guessed!! This is too AWESOME!

So, Even tho the guards were alert and almost hit Taylor, Demon was able to protect his friend by dashing in and and counter-attacking the enemy, the other guards were swiftly dealt with by Taylor's throwing daggers and swift stabbing!


Your fight was so awesome that even the prisoners were in AWE!!


After the fight, you hear some shaking on the ground, you wonder if it's Hops's doing or if it's something else...


Either way, there are 8 people desperately wanted to be saved! They are all in the closest cells but some of them are badly hurt and there are some blood here and there... Both Taylor and Demon exchange looks, you easily figure that there were more captives earlier today...


Taylor swiftly finds the keys in the dead monsters and open the cells, another big shaking happens and it scares the common folk even more! They now dash through the corridor of the mine wanting nothing more than to leave this place for good!


Hops! Even tho you give Cory a potion (or many of them) his body does not move, maybe it needs time to the effects to kick in but you do not have it to keep waiting as your friends are already walking toward the deeper part of the mine.


You take the left path even tho you are a tad bit afraid of being there all on your own... You walk carefully and by the end of the tunnel you reach a bigger room! There are a lot of creatures here! Really A LOT! Hops would not be able to deal with them all on his own but you try either way!


It's an almost impossible task! You need to roll a 19 or 20 to get through this!


Oh well... It's no surprise but, he gotta give it a try! Hops does his best and tries to bomb those creatures away as fast and hard as he can! He feels a shaking under his feet but it doesn't bother Hops! For him, this is the sound of his bombs doing their job!


As the monsters are closing in on Hops, he hears people screaming and running through the mine tunnels, Hops doesn't know what is happening but he decided to believe that his friends have finished saving everyone and are leaving the mine... At least he was able to help... Even being small and cute... In the end, Hops proved he was a good Alchemist...


OH! What is that!!


ANOTHER ROLL??


BAM! CLASH! BOOM!


The big and strong Bartender Unga who Hops had befriended earlier that day came from behind Hops and trashed some of the creatures who were closing on the little slime!


AARRRRGH!! - Unga screams while hitting them with his big axe!


The ground shakes a lot this time and this makes Unga grab Hops and turn back toward the tunnel but not before hitting the ceiling for the rubble to block a bit of the creature's path.



In the way out, Unga and Hops meet Demon and Taylor running toward the exit as the mine seems to be falling apart!


Taylor is nimble and so he dashes faster to be able to guide the people toward the right path


Demon is carrying one of the maidens who had their legs hurt and they would not be able to run by themselves!


Hops is yelling "weeee" from the shoulder of the big Unga who is also carrying some of the folk who aren't fast enough to save themselves.


NOW THE LAST ROLL!!


DEMON AND TAYLOR WHO ARE RUNNING FOR YOUR LIVES! GIVE ME A 30!!

(Hops is having fun as if he is in a roller-coaster so he can't help you here!)



AND YOU DID IT!! (Barely...)


Even if you reached the exit, you all keep running a bit further as the ground of the mine has opened into a big chasm!

You all wondered earlier today about this phenomena and now you have seen it up close...

You all cannot help but think back... If you hadn't chosen to save the captives they would probably all be dead by now... as is all the creatures that made this mine their nest... All swallowed by this chasm.


After resting a bit, the people you saved, Unga and your group walk back to the village together, weirdly enough for you all, the people seemed to have forgotten already how the creatures look like... They know what had befallen them, that they were kidnapped but they cannot remember the creatures...


The Doods go back to the tavern, Unga offer them a room to rest up, some food and care by Eclair all for free, as thanks for helping him saving the people.

Your wounds get better and you are at full HP again!

Really awesome visuals of the map! And dang, I KNEW HE WAS HIDING SOMETHING!!! Atleast I got my stuff back lol, and cashing in that punch cart haha. But that was a close one! Glad we managed to escape and rescued the captives! And best of all FULLY RECOVERED AND FREE CARE FROM ECLAIR 😍😍😍😏
