I sorta feel like I'm playing catch up as for a few months there I wasn't covering as much true crime, more disappearances and national park mysteries and such, so there's quite a few stories I'm only getting to cover now. This one is ongoing and for those of you who are familiar, you know, for those who ain't, it gets dark. Thanks!

I keep waiting for them to arrest her mother. She was in on it or at the very least, covered it up. The rage I feel when I watch her (AND THE MURDEROUS RAPI$T POS SHE ALLOWED TO ABUSE MADELINE) is PURE EVIL. It’s almost MORE SO than I even feel towards Stephen, as she was supposed to be Madeline’s most fierce protector! A REAL MOTHER wouldn’t let this happen to her child. I could go on and on, enraged as this case makes me.

Topics like this one, must be really difficult to research, and find all of the clips that go in this video. Not to mention having to go through it all again when telling these stories. I wonder if they were able to check the body during the autopsy to see if she was pregnant? That so called poem he wrote for her, about holding her in his arms when she passed away. Can't think of the exact way it was worded, but shouldn't they be able to use that, along with what that poor little girl wrote in her school notebook, against him when the trial starts?

2024-11-19 07:00:57 +0000 UTCIs it normal to have roommates when you have a child? Didn’t they think their sleeping arrangements were off? It surely wouldn’t have gone unnoticed? No reports to CPS? For the mom to allow the abuse, there’s no doubt in my mind that she did, it must’ve been ‘normal’ for her. But it in no way should get her off the hook. Stephan was a predator and found a partner who was willing to give him access to her child. Madeline had absolutely no chance. Yet another life wiped out because of a man and his sick fantasies. 😢 Rest well sweetheart.

Didn’t care that her boyfriend of 7 years had been abusing her child for years, didn’t even pretend to care when the police officers confronted her with the information. She facilitated the abuse. Jennifer Soto belongs in prison for life. The only “good” thing is that the boys in prison will make Stephan pay daily for what he did to sweet Madeline. I hope neither of the adults in her life have a single moment of peace for the rest of their pathetic lives. RIP Madeline

It's obvious she didn't trust her. And have you read what she (Madeline) wrote in that school diary about her mental health conditions? She was a very insightful young girl.

Not only she let - AND FACILITATED - her daughter being abused, but she seems to be still defending him, now that he killed her. I hope she doesn't come clean of this - she did everything but kill poor Madeline. Also: if the motive was pregnancy - or suspicion of - why on earth would this shitty excuse for a man think that killing her was the best solution to the problem? Why, if the mother was so complacent, wouldn't he tell her, and get the poor child to abort? Wait, don't tell me: they are pro-life!
