It's a story which has been covered a lot but it truly is the disturbing gift that keeps on giving because even as recent as last week, MORE shite came out. It is the month of Halloween after all. In this video we will go through the entirey of the manor, from it's fairly family friendly beginnings to the sad and pathetic state its in now, combined with the myriad legal difficulties of this freak show. My friend had found out about McKamey Manor and wanted to do it, she convinced me to do it with her at the time you had to sign up in a private facebook group. This was at least 10 years ago when he was back in San Diego I was in my early 20s I had heard he had about a 5 year waitlist so in my head I figured we would never actually get picked so I wasn't very worried about having to do it. You had to comment on a facebook status and send him a message to be added to the list, Russ replied to me within 30 minutes to let me know we could come the next weekend (supposedly someone dropped out last minute). I immediately found this suspicious as the both of us were young, attractive girls and I'm sure he could have picked someone else from his waitlist if that truly was the case. He then wanted to talk to me on the phone about the details he made it a point to tell me we needed to wear "sexy halloween costumes" and kept asking what I was planning on wearing. He went into gory details about "mother's kitchen" where we would be fed not limited to rotten food, feces, etc (he also didn't care about my food allergies). He wanted a list of our worst fears. He told me since I had on acrylic nails they would rip them off. At the time there was no time limit for the haunt and no safe word so basically he could torture you for as long as possible until essentially he gave a fake reason to end it. My friend ended up not being able to go due to her work schedule so I had let Russ know and he said it was fine and he would find someone else to go through with me. This made me uneasy as I didn't like the idea of going through with a stranger and I asked if we could find a different weekend for my friend and I. Russ said that even if we came a different time he would make a point of separating us. The plan was for me to wait at a park with a blindfold and they would come "kidnap" me in a van and take me to the manor, and when we were done I would be left at the park again. At the time I didn't have a car so I didn't like the idea of being left in a park late at night Russ refused to give me a timeframe so that I could arrange to have a friend waiting to pick me up. I became extremely anxious because Russ just gave me really bad vibes he kept calling and texting me different scenarios he wanted to put me through and it definitely seemed like he was getting off on it. I let him know I also wasn't going to do the haunt and he released my private information to the facebook group basically doxing me for not going through with it. This was all before a lot of the bad press started to come out about the manor, but I've always followed any story about Russ because I truly believe he's a creep. I've always wondered what would have happened if I had actually gone so grateful I listened to my intuition. Sorry that was so long but love you Mike great video ❤️

My friend, who’s a 6ft heavyset guy insisted on me going through one with him in the late 90s, insisting he’d protect me because I was so nervous. He then proceeded to scream like a 5 year old girl all the way round while clinging to me in terror. I was laughing so hard at him that I just couldn’t be scared. I’ve enjoyed going to them ever since, just to watch all the tough guys turn to jelly. Another friend of mine once took her Mum along for protection at Farmageddon- a local attraction where I live. Big mistake- she wet herself and lost a shoe! Can’t say McCamey manor appeals at all- looked pretty lame before they started actually laying hands on people- I hope a few of those actors & the a*sehole owner got a few good pastings!

But after hearing another some of the sick shit he does, including making it impossible to win, we backed out. He’s sick in the head. He enjoys watching people be “legally tortured”. I’ve seen some of the “victims” videos, and they are sad. He’s pathetic.
