National Park Horrors Vol.3

Hey everyone! Here's the latest video, back now and excited to get to Halloween. Wasn't supposed to have this many compilation videos in a row, I know some of you like it others not so much, but some murder trials over the course of Sept didn't turn out the way I thought they would. Regardless, next few videos will be single stories, and some pretty horrifying ones at that. It is the spookiest time of the year after all. For those of you who partake in the podcast there'll be a Halloween special video so keep a sharp eye. Thanks as always so much for being here!

National Park Horrors Vol.3

Wow...that last story really hit me. How utterly tragic! I cannot imagine the life long mental torture of losing a loved one, without ever finding out what happened to them.

Hit me back if ya want...I'm up all night

Oh crap Mike. These are very good investigations and I know them from various other investigations... You Da Man Mike!!

Damn, thanks for that!

Sorry Mike, but your math on Walter Leo’s age is wrong. If he was born in 1947 and died in 2018, he would have been 71 or 70, not 80.

That story about the two Lollie and Julie was horrible. Somehow the fact that one of them had found some joy after being (likely) abused as a child, then to die in such a horrible way- awful.

It’s the Colorado curse, trust me. I lived there for a bit

Thanks Mike! The last one especially is really a head-scratcher.

Thanks, Mike. That last one is really impressive, due to the baldness of the mountain. When they are lost, people generally go up to a high place (if they can and if there's one) to get oriented. He was literally at THE high place - how could he not see the way down? And to those who think he passed the turning point: judging by the photos, it's clear that the judges (not to mention all the racers) must have left traces of their presence - and I'm not talking about garbage, because I'm certain they were all eco-responsible, but the mere aspect of the ground, marks where the chairs, the flagpole and the tent had been... It should be obvious that was the turning point! This one is truly a mystery. Love ya!

Just a side note. A 31 year old woman just broke the record for finishing the Appalachian Trail. It took her only 40 days. Most avid hikers it takes 5-7 months. She said she ran/walked over 50 miles per day to achieve it. Waking up at 3:30am and running for 17 hours. What an absolute unit. She did have a support team to carry her supplies and watch out for creeps, like in this video. But my god, 40 days to hike 2,200 miles from Georgia to Maine. Insane isn’t the word for it. It’s almost hard to believe.

😂😂 I think so, should have said “yarden”

I’ve heard the first story done before and there is just something so hauntingly beautiful about it to me. Just getting away to be alone in a small town in the Rockies . Living in a “library”. Seems like a dream until you find out what happens.
