It’s wild to think about how quickly everything can change. My friends are losing their homes and being evacuated, and who knows how much further this will go.
Honestly, it feels like an inside job—much like Maui. Mismanagement, intentional neglect, or something more? The focus on diversity hiring over real qualifications has been a complete failure, leaving critical systems broken. Add in defunded resources and neglected brush clearing, and it feels like they’re letting it burn on purpose. It’s chaos designed to create control, another way to remind us we’re not safe.
