Story Update and Taking a Break (kinda).

Book 1 will be concluding in a few chapters, and I may take a break from the story for a week or two. I really wanted to go back and edit some chapters and rewrite things, and also to buildup my backlog for when book 2 launches. Although I say 'break,' I will actually be writing during this time. Instead of the 3X posts on MWF, I may only post one or twice a week, and irregularly for the duration of my break.

I posted a poll on Chapter 51 (The latest RR chapter), asking if you guys would be alright with me continuing an upload schedule of 3X a week, MWF. Versus uploading only twice a week, but the chapters will be longer and better edited.

You can let me know which one you would prefer, or go directly to the chapter and vote there.

I know that taking a break might not affect RR users as much, but it 100% affects any patrons here that are supporting me. I will continue to write and upload during the break, but it won't be as much content as before (3 chaps a week).

During the possible 2 week break, I will post rewritten/edited and revamped chapters (early ones), and I will continue to post the beginning chapters of book 2, but they will not be on a consistent schedule, but be longer and better written (I hope). I'm not planning on the break lasting longer than 2 weeks as I try to organize everything.

As it stands right now, I am leaning towards larger 3k-4k+ word chapters, uploaded maybe M and F.

Just wanted to let everyone know, that Book 1 will be ending soon. We are heading to the conclusion of the first book. Don't worry, I am still going to continue the series.

I've learned a lot during this time, and I never expected I was going to be able to write this much and even come to finishing it.

I've been thinking of rewriting some chapters, adding stuff, and removing more. I know some of you weren't happy about the demon rat mini-arc and why it took so long and dragged on, and I truly apologize for that. I never anticipated for it to be that long, and I'm sure I could have written it more concisely. 

I've been thinking of maybe taking a break after the first book concludes. This may be a one or two week break, as I go back and edit some of the chapters or replenish my backlog. But I'm not sure if you guys would be alright with that, as that would also mean a break for Patreon members also.

I was also thinking of changing my upload schedule for the start of book 2. Going from 3 days a week, to 2 days a week, but with longer, much more polished chapters, but only if you guys would be okay with that.

I'm still not sure about if I will take a week or two break or not. Because I'm sure I may lose readers and some momentum for my story, not to mention Patreon support. But I do want to go back and edit some chapters regardless. This story has taken me months to write and I'm personally not too happy with it's current quality, though maybe it's just me looking at the criticisms harder than the positives. But I will improve at the start of Book 2. Promise.
