2022-11-09 23:39:49 +0000 UTCI took a free community philosophy class from a local nonprofit in my town and it focused on how the Socratic dialogues both reference explicitly and structurally mimic different shapes and ratios in order to make arguments about thought and the nature of perception. It was pretty rad! Plato was a freak for ratios. And I learned how to draw a proportionately perfect pentacle using only a compass and a straightedge, which was extremely cool.

Great fuel for fiction, completely unprovable and based on the physicists involved struggling to accept that quantum might just be fundamentally different to classical physics.
