If you look it up, they’ll say that it does work for kidney stones, but for some reason no ER doctor or regular doctor has ever mentioned it to me. I’ve had 2 before. Well, 3 if you count the most recent one, which I fell asleep in the middle of it after taking hyoscyamine. Miracle. For real.

It's a little pedantic but something that drives me up a wall. This is just a small example of these NYT fucks dressing up simple language and ideas for no apparent reason. Literally Obama's first campaign used this to test campaign messages and tech companies constantly use it right now.
