...been listening to the backlog while doing garden work for my parents, and it was so delightful to hear Tanya talk about nearly passing out after getting a surprise-appearance of Priscilla Chambers at a club. She's fantastic (though my absolute favorite will always be Evah Destruction). It was a sweet moment of being reminded of high effort, low commercial payoff, "alt drag". //Take care Tanya. There are way more people like me who enjoy hearing your voice on a weekly basis than there are people who might have seen you on some tedious troll-feed, and genuinely forgot who the fuck you even were 2 seconds later. Not sure what subject but I have a humanities PhD adjacent to classics and it’s super common to have dinner, lunch, coffee, office hours one on one. Less common with undergrads, But still nothing that would raise an eyebrow. That’s how this shit happens. Needless to say, when I began teaching everyone with a shred of morals said leave your door open during office hours unless you want everyone to know you’re trying to bang your students lol
