It's a lovely little snippet to tide us over while we wait for months for the next full video. (Not complaining about the wait time, by the way, I know that these videos take time for the sake of research and accuracy, just pointing out why I appreciate these mini reviews all the more.)

2025-04-09 11:11:09 +0000 UTCSpeaking as someone who was actually over there (Talill AFB, OIF 2008-2009), the sitting around and waiting in a room is very accurate. "Nothing" happens most of the time, it's just quiet and people joke around with each other to pass the time. I can't speak for fierce combat like what Mendoza went through (I did convoy security) but the accuracy stands strong. Sorry if my comment sounds scrambled, it's just one of those things you have to force your brain to get out because it still feels so surreal that something like this really happened.
