Welcome to Pierce and Decker hell run. It’s almost sickening.

I think Maze is in a demon dark place and struggling to find out who she is and how she fits in. It hurts to see her push everyone away and her words hurt Trixie so much. Like you, Dakara, it hurt to see her little shocked and hurt face when she overheard what Maze said. It hurts too to see Luci unwittingly push Chloe away, when it seems to me if he just could tell her what she wants to hear from him (she obviously wants Luci)_and stay for a damn coffee when she offers instead of making it seem like he isn't interested in a 'relationship (he is!) and thus knowing she can't have the man she wants, next best thing is Pierce? I think Lucifer is still struggling to come to terms with understanding his feelings and how he feels about who he is... and doesn't know what to do. I know many Lucifans didn't like this present aspect of the story but I do. I just hoped Luci got his act together before it was too late and he lost Chloe forever...such emotional drama! I loved not knowing Pierce's game plan... he has had centuries to hone his poker face and not let people into into heart and we as viewers certainly could only speculate on his true motivations. I read some where that Tom Welling had given an interview where he explained the scriptwriters with-held Cain's true motivations from him, only allowing him to learn a little at a time what and where his story arc was going- thus keeping him and us in the dark and building intrigue. He had to play the character as ambivalent and giving nothing away in his face or body language too soon. I'm not sure if that was clever scriptwriting or wickedly discomforting for us fans but it worked, didn't it? Ep 19 and we still don't know the truth! Oh how I love the conflict and the drama! Thank you for another great reaction.
