This episode always gave me mixed feelings when I first saw it...the whole moving Abel's soul about plot seemed odd at first and like you said a slower episode again. However, watching again with you, I agree that Luci has been so focussed on himself, on revenge on his own issues and using Cain to achieve them. Cain wanted to die (he has no guilt, he said, so he thinks he will go to Heaven) so win-win for both- but Luci has seen the possible consequences and danger to Chloe. He does love her but I do think he doesn't fully understand this. I think he is still hung up on her being put in his path-free will etc etc. I think each episode drops a little clue how he feels about Chloe. In High School Poppycock (last episode) he was so thoughtful and cared about her missing her prom. It looked like she wanted him to kiss her as he held her in his arms yet he didn't. I wonder, even now, though we KNOW how he feels, he looks into her eyes and unlike every other woman he looks at, he cannot read what she wants/desires and this discomforts and confuses him. I wonder if he is actually scared to make a mistake and lose her from his life? Listening to your thoughtful and insightful comments and ideas has made me reconsider what Lucifer's motivations are where she is concerned and if he even knows himself. I agree, those little moments, looks they give each other tell us so much. I do know what is to come ( no spoilers) and I know you will expect an emotional rollercoaster (hasn't this Show always been one) so I cannot wait for more reactions. I m really enjoying this journey with you.

I think he was really poorly written and acted, so I was really pleased that he was instantly killed off! Love Charlotte & Linda. Well, I love anyone plus Linda! I love Linda!
