I love this show so much and I adore Isak and Sana! They always have such meaningful conversations (remember the season 3 talk?). That end scene is one of my absolute favourites from the show, in it’s entirety and like you and everyone else said, it’s such an important conversation. I agreed with both perspectives from that conversation, but I do agree with Isak that it is so important that Sana answers those questions, but it’s also equally important that people find ways to respectfully ask those questions. Don’t just assume or judge before you know. Season three is always my favourite as I adore Isak, and was always going to love his story the most, but season 4 is so very close behind. Sana is such a well developed and complex character and I just adore everything about her, even the way she screws things up.

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on this episode, especially that last scene. You expressed so well why that conversation was important. I absolutely love to see how much Isak has grown, and how he is able to share that growth with Sana. There are people who dislike that Isak seems to be telling Sana what to do, and say that it’s not Sana’s responsibility to explain Islam to ignorant people. Of course she shouldn’t have to, but like Isak said, if she doesn’t then they will make up their own answers. Progress takes work. You mentioned that you can never fully understand Sana’s experience, since it can never be your experience. But if we only pay attention to people who have our same perspective on things, then we never really learn anything new. I think that’s what is so powerful about this show. These characters learn so much from the people around them, not despite their differences, but because of them. That last scene is probably my favorite in the whole show, and Isak and Sana are definitely my 2 favorite characters. It’s strange how much I can miss people who never even existed in the first place! Chalk that up to excellent writing, directing and acting. ✨
