Rating - 7/10 - It's a filler ep & a little strange but I did enjoy the character of Elle. I always get worried when Dean refuses food especially PIE! Maybe killing Hitler was the winning 'fix' he needed?

While I never hated this episode I wasn’t a huge fan of it either. I think I am one of the few though that preferred the comedic take on Hitler rather than a serious one. I think Hitler is such a serious issue even today that taking him seriously there is no way they could have done it properly. By making him comedic, they take the sting and seriousness out of it a little. Other than that, I really loved Ellie, and as someone mentioned above, there are some brilliant outtakes from this episode.

2020-12-19 09:18:56 +0000 UTCI dunno if I’m alone in not being able to take this episode very seriously! Like, Hitler. THE Hitler. I guess I feel like it’s still too much of a sensitive topic to then portray him the way they did this episode? I know doctor who has an episode with him in it, but that was in his own time era and it was only brief before he got shoved in a wardrobe which I did find funny. I think it’s the idea of resurrecting Hitler, I dunno just can’t take it seriously! Did like Ellie though too, a good actress!
