Why can’t he just do the right thing and it go well for once...please and thank you writers! Metatron is the WORST. Just seeing him smile irks me to my very core! Dean is so sneaky with this blade-it terrifies me guys!

The end scene, where Dean attacked Gadreel, I found this quote from the director of the episode to Jensen:- _________ I just said to Jensen ‘you got to scare me. This is not going to work if I’m not scared. I need to buy that you’ve completely lost your mind and the quote-unquote drug has taken hold. It’s not going to work unless you absolutely scare me. The audience know you way too well and the fans of this show know you way too well and we’ve got to see a side of you we’ve never seen … and I don’t know how to tell you to do that,’ But, you know, we did a few takes and I was like ‘holy shit. He …the term ‘he delivered’ is an understatement.

2020-07-04 09:09:13 +0000 UTCI always loved the little scene at the bowling alley where Metatron is labelled as such a nerd, because first thing I ever saw him in was Revenge of the Nerds, where he played Goober. Jensen really shines in these episodes with the mark of Cain affecting him. The slow and clear progression of it taking over him is so powerful and well done.
