Unfortunately, I stopped watching the Walking Dead around season 6 so I can't watch your reactions. I really had big struggles with this show. First, it gave me many nightmares. Second, i found it hard to find some sense in it. The season I really enjoyed was the one where they thought there was a cure. At this moment, they had a real goal not just "surviving" And then they ruined that storyline. I tried to carry on but it was pointless at the end.

Amelya Lahna

I had no idea what was going on with that hugging scene. I thought maybe she was going for a Oberyn Martel eye-popping move but changed her mind? That girl Gamma was saving herself. She would be killed if Alpha was killed. I think before Carol has her stand-off something smaller will happen first. Michonne will go mental shouting "who broke the truce" etc. A rift with Carol & Michonne on the cards. I guess it'll be near the end before Maggie's story comes into play? Alpha is something you'd expect from Dexter. Best bad gal ever!

Few cool aspects of this episode I noticed. When the sisters are talking at the start and one says to the other 'Beta will see your not committed to the cause... to Alpha.' She snaps back with 'Don't say that.' probably because it seems like her leaving her child behind wasn't considered a big deal to the Whisperers but how much more committed could you get? Alpha telling Gamma sacrificing your own blood is an honour, and Gamma saying 'Alpha does not cry.' Are both applicable to Gamma but not Alpha. Gamma is the true Alpha in a way and Alpha is all talk. Unlike Alpha Gamma sacrificed her blood and didn't cry about it. I also think Gamma has a bit of a thing for Beta but that's just me. Having read the comics I won't say anything more but regarding things such as Beta's face they will probably go in a different direction anyway.

Bugsy McCoy

It's a shame that really, because it gives a certain meaning to Alpha telling Beta 'You'll never know what it's like to abandon your child.' Because if it was his son he didn't abandon him... he carries him always.

Bugsy McCoy

I don't believe Beta is wearing his son's face. It was his best friend. The actor who plays Beta, Ryan Hurst, was on Talking Dead show after this episode and indicated it wasn't his son but his best friend. I too thought it was his son. :P

Kripke's Corner

Good episode lots of dialogue" but still held it's own with some back story of the main whisperers and the introduction of Gamma.
