Loved the video! I liked seeing you testing the tarp method for the first time and giving us your full take on it. The size of it and perhaps easiness of setup/teardown is not worth it for me either. A complete tent is so much better :)

Anyway it was fun to watch. Nice to see you "recycle" your tandem parts. I have used SJS a few times for hard to find spares and other bike odds & ends. I'm interested to hear how you got on with your Brooks B17 saddle. It didn't look that well worn in the video but with the mileage you put in when it was on the tandem it must have broken in well.
