Lol, welcome to the Sufferings of Subaru Natsuki. The 'True' Chad of Pain. Stick with this series long enough and you'll find that there's no other character that can compare to the amounts of suffering and pain then this guy goes through. Subaru Natsuki is my number 1 all time favorite Anime/Light Novel main character. He's written to be a realistic character with alot of 'Flaws' and his character development is just as good and flesh out like Vinland Saga's Thornfinn. As for Subaru eye's at the end? That's just the glint reflected in his eye's. Anyways, Happy Holidays Mister Pineapple. Thanks for the upload.
