End of June 2021 Monthly Update
Added 2021-07-03 15:44:17 +0000 UTCHello my beloved patrons! I hope your June was incredible and that you're feeling great! June has come and gone already and now it's time for the end of the month, monthly update (a few days late again, oops).
The plan for June was to keep Dead By Daylight as the main game for the channel while also making videos for other games as a way to improve viewer satisfaction and retain people's interest in the channel. I made videos for about 20 different indie games this month and although most of them performed below average as far as views and average watch time goes, some people did enjoy them and hopefully giving people different options for what to watch is helping with retaining people's interest in the channel.
We started the month with around 800 subs and ended with around 880 so this month was better for growth than last month's. The main reason for that is I changed my steam username while playing DBD to "CG Plays (Live on YT)" and a lot of the people I play against in DBD have been coming in to the channel and subscribing. I'm not sure if it's a wise long-term strategy for growth but it seems to be helping for now.
For July, the plan is going to be pretty much the same as June. Continue streaming DBD since that's where almost all of the new subs come from but also continue putting out videos on indie games so people can enjoy variety. I'm not sure about the frequency/volume for the indie videos though, that's something I still need to figure out.
