End of May 2021 Monthly Update

Hello my beloved patrons! I hope your May was fantastic and that you're feeling wonderful! May flew by quickly and now it's time for the end of the month, monthly update (a few days late, oops).

This month I experimented a little bit with content since the channel's been growing too slowly for my liking. We started the month with around 745 subs and ended with around 800, one of the slowest months for growth we've had in a while. I tried some videos where I used multiple DBD matches per video, experimented with better thumbnails for some videos, made a few videos for indie games and even made a second channel for edited DBD videos.

I'm not entirely certain what direction the channel is going to take here in June. I think I'm going to focus more on viewer retention//loyalty instead of growth since focusing on growth isn't helping much. So for that, I'll continue with Dead By Daylight content as a staple for the channel since a lot of people do enjoy watching me play it but I'll also try to sprinkle in other games as well to keep it interesting for anyone who has gotten bored of watching DBD. Ideally, I'd like to put out a video on a new game every day. Hopefully having DBD as a staple game plus having a variety of other games as well will make people happy with what I'm doing with the channel.
