The Dictatorship - A Fictional Essay
Added 2024-07-21 14:42:16 +0000 UTCLast week, I put out a poll asking what everyone wanted as the next piece of content. Imagine my surprise when The Dictatorship won! In any case, I wanted to give it a shot. I originally planned to write this using traditional prose. Still, I decided to go for a different approach: imagining it as an essay written by a journalist part of a group lucky enough to visit this unnamed country and get to "understand" it.
Word of note: The content is decidedly fictional but draws parallels with past dictatorships to help this fictionalised work. I hope you enjoy reading this rather meaty "essay."

There's enough meat on that bone for more in the future, that's for sure. Tried my best to keep it open-ended enough to suggest more might come if I feel inspired or however the situation goes. In a weird way religion is still there. It's now just relegated to the one religion you're being TOLD to follow.

I am a bit surprised by her outlawing religion though, a lot of bodybuilders are very religious from my experience.
