Vanessa and Sarah are lined up to be the antagonists for the story's first act - that's right, there are more antagonists than what's already been revealed. More on that in time! I like to look at Vanessa and Sarah as characters that tell readers, "That's right, we're just the first round!" I've got bigger, beefier, more outrageously huge antagonists lined up.
