The CEO

His first day was set to be easy, going through the building the CEO had leased out for the year and getting to grips with the tech he would use.
What David didn’t expect on his first day, though, was to meet the CEO face to face. Hardline was new, so David thought his new boss would be busy ensuring her metaphorical ship was tight. But no, there she was. At twenty-two, Esther Kennedy was not much older than David, so seeing her run the company so effectively surprised him.
Though what surprised David most was Esther’s choice of attire, a sports bra that allowed her chiseled abdominal muscles to be proudly displayed, sleeveless to let her sculpted biceps bulge openly, a thick vein running down the peak.
“Welcome to Hardline,” Esther said, smiling.
