A Crown of Lust Concept (Reworked with themes added)

 Yet another concept I want to share with you guys. Seeing as it's just a concept at the moment though, I wouldn't worry too much about whether we'll see it soon, if at all.

A Crown of Lust, in essence, is a medieval/fantasy-setting tale of war, betrayal, immorality and greed. I've partially written a modern-day fantasy story named A Court of Dragons, here on my Deviantart page, but in regards to Crown, it's a more traditionally fantastical tale. I guess you could say it's Game of Thrones without being Game of Thrones.

The synopsis for Crown:

The warring states of Fallmont and Clearmarsh meet to seek peace after decades of fighting, agreeing to an arranged marriage between the battle-weary Prince Gefroy of Fallmont and the warrior Princess Tamzin of Clearmarsh to ensure the armistice. As expected, the arrangement does not go down well with the future king and queen, especially when it is revealed the young princess is a more independant and 'large' individual.

Meanwhile, the royal court of Fallmont contends with itself over the merits of Queen Evelyn's immoral relations with her son Gefroy, which has resulted in a pregnancy that the kingdom is forced to keep quiet about, else the armistice is lost. Half of Fallmont's court sees the pregnancy as fated and pure, while the other sees it as an omen of doom. The Queen schemes to keep her son in check while teaching him the ropes of arranged marriage.

A Crown of Lust will be a more story-driven tale than others are used to, an attempt to be a bit more serious than my other stuff here. I imagine there will be plenty of sex in this series, both appropriate and otherwise, with some action tossed in to vary the story's pace.

Characters

Prince Gefroy: Heir to the kingdom of Fallmont; weary from the skirmishes spawned by Clearmarsh that ravish his lands; arranged to marry Princess Tamzin; secret lover to his mother Queen Evelyn.

Princess Tamzin: Heiress to the kingdom of Clearmarsh; an independent and 'large' soul arranged to marry Prince Gefroy, who may find her size and freedom hard to comprehend.

Queen Evelyn: High ruler of Fallmont; unnaturally youthful for her age; fiercely opposes the marriage between her son and Princess Tamzin arranged by her husband before his untimely death; forever scheming to ensure she stays on top; pregnant by her son.

Court Minister Simmond: Queen Evelyn's most trusted servant; sly as a fox.

Elsa Norwood: excommunicated witch within Queen Evelyn's circle.
