"A Crown of Lust" [Concept]

I wasn't ready to add it to the potential rota addition poll I put up earlier this week because some of the stuff wasn't fully ironed out. Now that it is, I thought it would be a good idea to share it. Seeing as it's just a concept at the moment though, I wouldn't worry too much about whether we'll see it soon, if at all.
A Crown of Lust, in essence, is a medieval/fantasy-setting tale of war, betrayal, immorality and greed. I've partially written a modern-day fantasy story named A Court of Dragons, on my Deviantart page, but Crown would be exclusive here. I guess you could say it's Game of Thrones without being Game of Thrones.
The synopsis for Crown would be, in a general sense:
The warring states of Fallmont and Clearmarsh meet to seek peace after decades of fighting, agreeing to an arranged marriage between the battle-weary Prince Gefroy of Fallmont and Princess Tamzin of Clearmarsh to ensure the armistice. As expected, the arrangement does not go down well with the future husband and wife.
Meanwhile, the royal court of Fallmont contends with itself over the merits of Queen Evelyn's immoral relations with her son Gefroy, which has resulted in a pregnancy that the kingdom is forced to keep quiet about, else the armistice is lost. Half of Fallmont's court sees the pregnancy as fated and pure, while the other sees it as an omen of doom for the kingdom.
A Crown of Lust will be a more story-driven tale than others are used to, an attempt to be a bit more serious than my other stuff here. I imagine there will be plenty of sex in this series, both appropriate and immoral, with some action tossed in to vary the story's pace.
In regards to if there'll be any growth to get excited about: that's actually open for debate at the moment. I was so focused on the narrative concept that I haven't had a chance to pinpoint who gets to grow in the story, if anyone. I might even be so different with this series that nobody grows and just focus on the plot. Who knows? That said, pregnancy growth is an obvious theme, but that'll be kept at a natural pace. So yes, growth themes are uncertain at the moment, but I wanted to share the storyline concept here more than anything.
With that said, what are your thoughts on A Crown of Lust in its current form? As always, you can vote for several options.
