I'm pretty ambivalent. It's cool to make suggestions and whatnot, but I don't want to stymie your work either. Same with having you write too much of one thing and burning out. On the other hand, the polls serve to let you know what is most popular among your content so you can keep patrons happy. Sort of a Catch 22.
