I don't blame you, she looks terrifying - the last time she showed us how she looked back in the early years it took a week to get Beezlebub to crawl out from under the bed (and if she wants chocolate - you do NOT want to tell her no.....).

The good news is, she likes people - and not just because they taste good: she likes it when they think SHE tastes good. She considers herself an ethical vampire - as the logical conclusion of either killing everyone or turning them all into vampires just isn't good for vampires.

Besides. Humans make delicious candy - you would not believe what this woman would do for a good alpine chocolate - and frankly, she only has to do it once for you to never *care* how scary she is again - she's just that good.

At 16,000 years old, she's got a lot of....experience.

Also, at 16,000 years old, she doesn't need much blood anymore - so little people often give it accidentally and often....voluntarily.

She's also discovered that one of the interesting quirks of vampire healing abilities is if you tear a muscle and heal it magically, you can make it grow VERY quickly. She sometimes makes a show of it - which is why I invited her for spooky season. She's been wanting an excuse to - stretch herself a bit.....
