When is it acceptable to have accidents?
Added 2024-04-29 16:00:41 +0000 UTCWhat are some situations when it's perfectly acceptable for someone to have a wet or messy accident? Have you ever experienced it or seen someone else have an accident then?

I'd compare it to that state of driving without memory, aka highway hypnosis. It is like "oh, I guess I'm peeing" or "huh, I changed into a fresh diaper a bit ago and it's squishy but I didn't think I peed yet"

We've found that being desperate enough to lose control if scared means we're too distracted to actually be scared by something, like a jump scare in a movie. How did you manage to wet without knowing? We've never been able to do that.

Bella here, I keep a pull-up and a potty pad in my car because I've had situations like that too and I've decided I'd rather stay in my car and have my accident than have to go inside somewhere.

2024-04-29 23:42:29 +0000 UTCI think the most appropriate and common time to have an accident is when you are stuck in traffic and are unable to get to a bathroom. I have had quite a few messy accidents and even more wet accidents over years while stuck in heavy traffic. I usually keep a towel or a plastic bag in my car for such occasions. It honestly feels way better just to go in your pants than to be in pain trying to hold it which is why it has been a fairly regular occurrence for me over the years. Another situation where it felt justifiable was when I was a little over halfway into an 8 hour road trip. I became beyond desperate to go number 1 and 2 while in an area that was unpopulated and didn’t have many options to access a bathroom. My only choice was to stop at a gas station. Unfortunately, when I walked into the bathroom it only had a single stall and without going into too much detail it was so horrifically dirty I didn’t feel comfortable stepping inside the stall or anywhere near the toilet. I couldn’t hold it long enough get back in my car to try and find another bathroom, so I made the decision to wet and mess in my boxer briefs. I literally pulled my pants down in the middle of the bathroom, squatted down and desperately filled up my briefs with a massive load and then I completely flooded them after. Once I was done going I took my boxer briefs off and threw them in the trash can and cleaned myself up with paper towels that I respectfully threw away in the trash also to avoid anyone having to clean anything up after me. I then hopped back in my car and drove the rest of the way to my hotel. Fortunately, it was an overnight trip so I backed extra underwear which ended up coming in handy.

2024-04-29 22:20:52 +0000 UTCAmy here! I was driving home last summer from a dinner with a friend when we got TWO flat tires by running over something in the road. Since we only had 1 spare tire, we had to sit on the side of the highway and wait for a tow truck. We sat there for 2 hours, and about an hour in, my friend had to pee quite badly. Being on the side of the highway, there was nowhere she could go for cover. So we both agreed that it was a perfectly acceptable time to have an accident. She just squatted down next to the car and peed through her black leggings. She tied her sweatshirt around her waist so she wouldn't get pee on the seat of our Uber once the tow truck arrived.
