Dark and Quiet, Part 1

I'm pleased to report that I've finished part one of Dark and Quiet, my apocalypse love story! I plan to post it on my website's blog shortly, but in the meantime you can read it here:

I was originally thinking that I'd make it just a short story, but about halfway through writing it I realized that Yivi and Sparrow needed a bit more time, so it's probably going to be a three-part novelette instead. Remember, it's only thanks to you all that I have the leeway to complete smaller projects like Dark and Quiet.
I'll have a more complete March Update for you soon, including some previews of the hindren village quest that I'm writing for Caves of Qud. Stay tuned!
