Chapter 3 - Maturation of a page
Added 2022-12-20 08:01:00 +0000 UTCI just updated a lot of little things for Chapter 3 (you can see them here: CIS & TRANS ) and thought it'd be fun to share how much I struggled with page 1's lettering! You can flip through from the very first thumb to the end (with captions) if you're interested!! I'm so sorry y'all got that rough version when I first posted it LOL. Feeling very humbled now
For Patroclus' and Zagreus' voice overs, I couldn't decide between western lettering conventions (square boxes, explanation below) versus more manga-inspired ones (balloons without tails). I was also convinced I didn't want western square caption boxes for EO, so I tried way too many confusing ways to avoid them ๐๐ฆ I finally ate crow and just used the square caption boxes and... wow, the professionals know what they're talking about ๐
