CHAPTER 2 - WIP snippets ($1+)

04/20/2022: sometimes I draw a Zagreus I'm pleased with immediately... and sometimes it takes a lot of discards 😬 the top expression was too similar to the bottom one, which took away the bottom one's impact, so it needed to be changed, after spending >1 hr getting his head right...ah well!!!

04/15/2022: finally back to inking after ~3 weeks of editing!! i made a reusable asset sheet for things like those bannisters... but now the quality standard for bannisters is too high 😰 dont look too closely. you can watch me fumble with the mural effect in the most recent stream recording!!

03/12/2022: background boss battle, featuring the stairs that are driving me crazy!!!!! why did i design it like this!!!!!!

02/07/2022 backgrounds i got really excited about in Chapter 2; im considering rewriting the script so thanzag make out in that hall lol 

1/27/2022: ZAGREUS!!!!!!!!

1/25/2022: a bunch of little things; ink snippets from Ch 2, Part 1, and some pencils form Ch 2, Part 3. Part 3 is getting fleshed out after revising parts of Chapter 3, so there's about three different things happening at once 💦 

1/14/2022: started inks a few days ago, here's just one panel, trying to be smart about bg assets this time so lets see if it works out 🙏

11/27/2021: OK!!! Updated thumbsheets, one panel of frazzled Thanatos, one smug Meg.

 I think I made it through the thickest of the weeds (🙏) that's Ch 2, parts i & ii. Part iii is fine already so I don't feel a need to go through it twice. I think now I can just 1) double check Ch 3-6 for any BIG rough bumps that need smoothing, and then 2) start moving into final art for Chapter 1???!!! kinda scary tbh... 

11/19/2021: i think i promised "watch the struggle in real time" in the tiers and here we go!!! i am struggling!! it's a good struggle, but a struggle nonetheless

Originally, I wanted to start making final art around now and not worry too much about perfect writing... but i'd prefer to at make one more rough pass to touch up writing parts that didn't translate as smoothly to drawings as I thought. Ch 1 is mostly fine, but ch 2, being the longest and nearly all plot, is the most important chapter. it's been very challenging. 

I was going to say something like, "the pink and green pages are the parts that needed reworking" but then realized it went into the purple too. The last part, pages 49-60, are fine. Pages 4-46 have had me thinking much harder than I thought I'd be now haha.......... my brain is. very tired and i cannot wait to just draw...(also pages have been added, originally it was 52 and now it is 60)
