The story behind Smoke
Added 2023-07-27 08:30:00 +0000 UTCMy parents smoked a lot when I was a kid and I hated it. It's a habit that I really don't like and it's not sexy at all. Having said that when Denis was talking to me about doing a shoot and knowing that he is a bit of a stoner, we organised to do the shoot at his apartment, keeping it nice and simple. Just him, natural light, his apartment and a joint or two.
While smoking isn't sexy, the idea of lounging nude around your apartment relaxing not caring about your housemates who are wandering around, sometimes nude themselves, really is. That was the hedonistic vibe we were going for with this shoot.
While Denis was wearing something when I arrived, that certainly didn't last long and he had no reservations about his nudity.
We have spoken since about doing another shoot but our timing never worked out. Maybe it's time to reach out again.
